Biography

Anne McCormick was daughter of Henry McCormick and Annie Criswell McCormick, and sister of well-known Dauphin County figure Vance McCormick. Although she had many suitors, she never married. She traveled the world, sometimes acting as chaperone for her young nephews, and took a leadership role in many volunteer organizations, most notably the Girl Scouts of America.
