Biography
Mary was the daughter of Eliza Buehler (1806-1877) and James McCormick
(1801-1870). She was born October 10, 1834, and married J. Donald Cameron
on May 20, 1856. Cameron went on to become Secretary of War, under General
Grant, Delegate to the National Republican Council, and a United States
Senator.
Mary and J. Donald had six children: (1) Eliza McCormick Cameron (b.
1857), who Married William H. Bradley; (2) Virginia Rolette Cameron
(b. 1861), who married Lt. Alexander Rodgers); (3) James McCormick Cameron
(b. 1865); (4) Mary Cameron (b. 1867); Margaretta Brua Cameron (b. 1869),
who married John Clark; Rachel Burnside Cameron (b. 1871).
Mary died on March 20, 1856.
