The Pennsylvania State Data Center invites you to attend its Annual Data User Conference. The 2019 Data Users Conference is Pennsylvania’s most comprehensive single-day forum for public and private sector demographic data users.

This year’s conference will highlight the 2020 Census. This year's keynote speaker is Robert Isenberg, Market Division Chief of the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB), who will discuss how PLCB continues to evolve its analytic capabilities and harness data to highlight consumer trends.

The 2019 Data Users Conference is Pennsylvania’s most comprehensive single-day forum for public and private sector demographic data users. This year’s conference will highlight the 2020 Census. Experts from the U.S. Census Bureau will present on upcoming programs and data that will be available leading up to and following the 2020 Census.

Presentations include:

  • Pennsylvanians' Perceptions of the Nature and Extent of Human Trafficking

  • 2020 Census: Getting an Accurate Count for Your Community

  • Utilizing Data to Inform Statewide Child Welfare Advocacy Efforts

  • The Geography of Craft Beer

Other sessions from experts across academia, government, private, and non-governmental organizations will highlight applied data collection, analysis, and visualization methods. As in previous years, the conference also provides an excellent opportunity for data professionals to network and share information on Pennsylvania’s changing population, demographics, and economy.
