Race Against Racism 5k

Participate in a unquie run/walk through Harrisburg city neighborhoods, including the Capitol area and Midtown. Following the race will be a humanity fest that will feature food trucks, live entertainment and exhibitors.

The race supports the YWCA's mission to eliminate racism, empower women and girls, and promote peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. The funds we raise are crucial to sustaining our racial justice programs throughout the year ahead. 

Students are encouraged to join the Penn State Harrisburg team via Engage

Required: $1.00 tip for bus driver required upon entry of the bus.

Time: Bus leaves Olmsted parking lot at 7:30 a.m. and will return back to Olmsted parking lot at 11:45 a.m.

  • Check your Penn State email for updates as trip details are subject to change.
  • You MUST sign up using your PSU email account or else you will NOT be considered to participate in an event/trip.
  • All students who sign up for SAF-funded trips will be held to the Student Code of Conduct and SAF Red Flag Policy guidelines.
