Biography
Katharine Dexter McCormick (1875-1967) was married to Stanley McCormick,
youngest son of Cyrus McCormick, founder of the McCormick Reaper Company.
She was born and went to school in Boston, graduating from the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology with a degree in biology in 1904. She was a
strong supporter of women's rights and was instrumental in the devleopment
of the birth control pill.
